Retired? Don't know how to fill up your mornings or long afternoons? Volunteer with Life Choice and change someone's life! Life Choice Hospice seeks people who are kind-hearted and compassionate to spend quality time with patients nearing the end of life. They are looking specifically in Lower Bucks County, PA for individuals to participate in their engaging volunteer program. As little as two hours a week is helpful, and arrangements can be customized to accommodate each volunteer’s personal schedule.
Life Choice Volunteers are trained to support terminally ill individuals and their loved ones. The wide variety of volunteer roles include; companionship volunteers, pet therapists, Reiki volunteers and administrative volunteers. Training will be provided to make sure each volunteer is given the instruction needed to guarantee a rewarding and positive experience. Through their commitment to Life Choice, volunteers can impact patients in extraordinary ways. Whether it be reading the local news to a patient, sitting outside watching the leaves change color and fall or listening to 50's music, your time will be well spent and rewarding.
