Project Detroit Rebuild is dedicated to helping flood victims recover from the largest domestic natural disaster of 2014. We are doing cleanup work in flood damaged basements that include sorting through valuable possessions, performing muck & gut activity, and rebuilding some of these affected homes.

Many citizens of the area never received assistance and are in need before mold related health hazards get worse. Winter weather is setting in and mold will begin to circulate throughout homes as heating systems are put to use. Help us help these Detroiters before an even bigger problem begins.

We accept live-in and live-out volunteers, providing free housing and three free meals per workday (Tues. - Sat.). We also supply tools, materials, and well-trained Site Supervisors to ensure enjoyable productivity throughout your volunteering experience.

Each volunteer is responsible for arranging and purchasing travel to and from Detroit, as well as acquiring visas & travel insurance, taking mandatory mental health breaks and food on non-work days.
