Service to the Armed Forces Caseworkers are a critical link of the Emergency Communication Messages (ECM) process. Our Local SAF Volunteer Caseworkers review cases assigned to our Chapter, contact the family to conduct a follow-up, offer potential new services, and complete an Emergency Communication Services Client Satisfaction Survey. In addition, they also annotate the case file with the services they provided and close the case.
- Requires completion of two online courses and hands-on training from a trained SAF Case Manager
- Caseworker work one day a week and the normal shift is from 8 AM to 4 PM
- Work can be done from home, requires internet and phone access

Description
The Southwest Florida Chapter of the American Red Cross provides assistance to the community in times of disaster such as flooding, hurricanes or fire, Armed Forces Emergency Service as well as Disaster Preparedness Education. Health & Safety Department provides instruction in CPR, First Aid, HIV AIDS Education, Babysitting, Sailing and other water safety courses.
