Celebrate National Public Lands Day by assisting in a shoreline and park cleanup day at Lake Pleasant. Trash bags and gloves will be provided. The Lake Pleasant Shoreline is vast and always in need of some extra helping hands. Join in as volunteers clean up trash and debris along the shoreline in order to beautify the area for future patrons and to preserve the natural landscape. This will be a day of service and fun in the magnificent Lake Pleasant setting. Please wear appropriate clothing, closed toe shoes, and sun screen. Please bring a water bottle to refill. Some trash pickers will be available for use, but if you have your own please bring them. RSVP at parkvolunteer@mail.maricopa.gov or here http://www.maricopacountyparks.net/events/national-public-lands-day-lake-pleasant-clean-up/
**All volunteers can enjoy the Lake for the rest of the day for free, after the clean up event.
