Our academic programs are structured around our belief that great leaps in learning can happen with one-on-one attention and through a differentiated learning model. We believe that attention to building critical literacy and confidence in self through academic success are fundamental to future success.
With this in mind, we provide drop-in tutoring, out-of-school-time workshops, and weekly STEM, STEAM, and STEM Sports sessions for scholars. All of our free programs are challenging and enjoyable, and ultimately strenghthen each scholar's power to express ideas effectively, creatively, confidently, and enhances his or her own knowledge base.

Youth On The Move In The Community, Inc. offers young scholars, between the ages of 6 and 18, opportunities to engage in programs that seek to increase a positive awareness of self, foster critical thinking, and generate a spirit of team through organized sports and academic collaboration. We seek to: 1. Provide a safe environment for all participants who engage in our academic and sports-based programs. 2. Promote health and wellness. 3. Foster team-building and critical thinking. 4. Develop partnership with the Harlem community in which we serve, and be in action around issues that uplift and support the socio-economic growth of that community.
