The Alzheimer's Association Oregon Chapter is seeking two to four volunteers to serve as facilitators for two new support groups starting this fall. These important volunteer positions require a one-year commitment and two to three hours a month. Support group facilitators’ preferred background should be in elder care and/or mental health. They should also want to provide support to people with Alzheimer’s disease and their families. For details, call 800-272-3900 or send an email to sarah.holland@alz.org.

The Alzheimer’s Association Oregon & SW Washington Chapter is part of the Alzheimer’s Association, the world's leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. From its offices in Portland, Bend and Medford, the Oregon Chapter provides education and support for people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, as well as their families and caregivers. In addition, it offers local support groups, early-stage engagement programs, community education classes and a 24/7 Helpline (800-272-3900).
