Ideal for college students and older adults with available afternoons! Central Library seeks assistance in monitoring its Teen Space during the afternoon hours and ensure smooth operation of activity areas. Monitors help supervise the foot traffic within the teen space; assist with homework; assigning computer time; and assist with setup/clean-up of activities such as board games, trivia contests and more. Requirements

  • Should be prepared to answer questions related to a a variety of academic subjects such as Science, Math, and History.
  • Comfortable speaking and interacting with teens 13-19 years
  • Organized and good natured

Volunteers should be available 2-3 days a week; Monday - Friday; 3:00pm - 6:00pm.
