Volunteers of America's food banks provide families, individuals, seniors and adults with disabilities in need with nine supplemental meals per month. We are looking for someone who wants to be a community leader and make a difference by volunteering as a team lead at the South Everett Mobile Food Bank! The food bank is located at 805 W Casino Rd, Everett, WA 98204.

As the Food Bank Volunteer Lead, you will be responsible for:
• Work off of the Volunteer Event checklist to ensure all details of the event are being executed
• Arrive one-hour prior to the volunteers to help staff set up volunteer project
• Greet volunteers as they arrive and have each volunteer sign in (unless volunteer is a minor, then have parent write each family members' name in)
• Once volunteers are placed in a position by a staff member, check in with volunteers throughout the event to make sure they know what they're doing & to answer any questions
• Make sure refreshments and snacks are available to volunteers
• Recognize volunteers for their work at the end of event (give specifics of what they did and how many people they helped)

Commitment & Hours of Operation
• Monthly or bi-monthly food packaging events
• Tuesdays: set up from 12:00 to 3:00, food distribution from 3:00 to 6:00 and tear down from 6:00 to 7:00.
• Includes monitoring of volunteer Grocery Rescue
