Does writing and presentations come easy for you...then students at Hollis Community Library could use your help and expertise. Help students compose and edit writing assignments and presentations using computer programs such as Microsoft Office and PowerPoint. Requirements

  • Experience writing and editing reports, articles, and presentations
  • Experience using computer based tools including, but not limited to: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Publisher.
  • Able to assist students conducting research using both the internet and print sources
  • Must be high school juniors or senior. College students and adults also welcome.
  • Able to work with school-aged and middle school students with limited writing and/or computer experience

Volunteers are needed 2-3 hours a week; Monday - Friday between 3:00pm - 6:00pm.

  • Welcome New Americans, helping them learn English and prepare them to become citizens...and more!
