The Senior Center of Boulder City is seeking new and exciting volunteers!!

We have a few positions available at various times of the day.

With School starting we are losing some of our summertime volunteers and find ourselves very short handed.

A few areas we need help in are:

Dining Room:

Help disabled Seniors by serving them their lunch and helping pick up their trays when finished, making coffee, wrapping silverware, and helping in keeping salt and pepper shakers creamer sugar and various other condiments stalked and ready to go for the senior patron. Days available Monday 8-1 pm Tuesday 8-1pm, Wednesday 8-1 pm, and Fridays 8-1 pm

Donation Pick Ups:

There are a few Stores that donate certain food items certain days of the week

Albertsons in Boulder City NV. we need an adult that can drive to the Albertsons on Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the morning and drop off the donations at the Senior Center

Panera in Henderson donates their Monday breads and pastries to the Senior Center

we need somebody preferably in Henderson to pick up the donation Monday nights and drop it off that night or very early Tuesday mornings

Kitchen:

The Kitchen is what make us so great the main focus of the Senior Center of Boulder City is our nutritional programs we feed low income and homeless seniors five days a week

we need volunteers to help our cooks get ready for lunch each day by prep work, preparing the salad bars and preparing the pastries for that days lunch

Monday thru Fridays are available and we really need someone on Fridays

a current health card is a MUST, however if you don't have one and get one to volunteer at the Center we will pay for one AFTER a year of you being here
