  • 55 people are interested

We have friendly long time volunteers to help you guide our Guests in our Historic Wray Home Museum. If you are interested in history and people, you'll love it.

Meet interesting people from all over the world and talk with them about our how Flamingo Gardens started as a 2,000 acre orange grove and later became a botanical garden and animal sanctuary. We have 15 Champion trees. (the largest of ther kind in Florida) Our botanical garden has plants from all around the world. We care for permanently injured wildlife and release their offspring back into the wild. Our historic Wray Home is filled with pictures and antiques from the 1930's. Sometimes you show guests through the home and watch their faces light up with their own memories from this era. Come see why we are loved by our many members and volunteers. Find out more about us at flamingogardens.org or like us on Facebook.
