PruittHealth Hospice volunteers are the heart and essence of hospice. Volunteers are the "gift" to the agency, the patient and the family. They work hand-in-hand with the members of the hospice team to provide a high quality end-of-life experience to our patients and families. Volunteers provide unique services, such as visiting with patients and families, read, playing music and serving as a companion.
If you have a few hours each month to give and the desire to make a difference in the life of another, you could be a PruittHealth Hospice volunteer. As a hospice volunteer you will be an essential part of our caring team. Know that the "gift" you have shared will add value to the life that you have touched.
Our office appreciates the time, service and dedication that our current volunteers provide to our team and to our patients and their families. Here are just a few ways that our volunteers help:

Reading a newspaper
Reading postcards and greeting cards
Writing letters

Knitting or sewing something unique to the patient
Helping with household tasks

Office Volunteers:

Filing
Making phone calls
Putting together admission packets

- Educating the public about hospice
