The Phyllis Wheatley Community Center is in need of volunteers to serve in our homework help program. We work with low-income youth, grades K-12th.Volunteers will assist with homework and participate in enrichment activities with them. The program will be held from 3:30-6:00, Monday-Thursday. We would, ideally, like volunteers to comitt to one afternoon a week for three months.
All volunteers are required to undergo a background check.
Come and make a difference and be a mentor in the lives of youth. Questions?Interested? Please email: melissal@phylliswheatley.org
