If you have a musical talent such as singing or playing an instrument, and love to perform for others, being a Music Therapy Volunteer may be the right fit for you! Many of our patients love music and are greatly impacted in such a positive way by it. Listening to music can greatly enhance a patient's end of life journey by reminding them of their past or helping them to forget about all the medical issues that they are facing.

Description
Hospice Advantage is devoted to caring for patients and their families during the death process. Hospice Advantage has two office locations, both in Burr Ridge and Elgin, but cares for patients throughout the DuPage, Cook and Lake counties at various nursing facilities and patient homes.
Our staff comprises of doctors, nurses, CNAs, chaplains, social workers, team coordinators and volunteers. We value the work volunteers do and are seeking individuals who want to help make a difference in a patient's life.
Our volunteers allow our program to thrive by their direct work with patients as well as the help they provide in the office. Volunteers give the gift of companionship to our patients and their families in addition to a generous helping hand to the staff.
