Volunteer Details: Volunteers will help set up and run activities for kids and their families. The event is indoors and outdoors and requires physical activity. Please sign up to volunteer by September 5.
Event Details: Positive Play Project is providing a FREE day of testing, instruction, and education. Parents, coaches and young athletes can take advantage of expert services and resources from Mesa’s leaders in youth sports, health and safety.
Services provided:Baseline Concussion Testing (A.T. Still Univ.), Sports Physicals (NextCare Urgent Care), Athlete Combine-sports performance testing and instruction (A.T. Still Univ.), Bike Rodeo-safety, instruction, and registration (Mesa Fire and Mesa Police), Flu Vaccinations (Mesa Fire)m Basic First Aid/CPR Instruction (Mesa Fire)
Resources provided:Nutrition and Hydration, Stretching and Injury Prevention, Sportsmanship, Water Safety, Bullying Prevention, Stranger Danger
