Thank you for your interest in dedicating your time and cooking skills to preparing a meal for the guests of the B. Thomas Golisano Hope Lodge Hospitality House. We provide free lodging and support to more than 10,000 patients and caregivers each year; and there is nothing more appreciated than a ready, hot meal after a long day of treatment and recovery. Dinners at Hope Lodge offer a time of reprieve - a time of community, togetherness and healing. Our guest have shared how nice it is to come "home" after a long day at the hospital, to the aroma of a home-cooked meal and feel taken care of.
Dinner Host are asked to shop and prepare a meal for 25 to 30 guests. The American Cancer Society and the B. Thomas Golisano Hope Lodge Hospitality House do not provide monies to offset the cost of the meal. We supply all the cooking utensils, pots, pans, glassware, dishware & silverware. You as the hostess are encouraged to eat and mingle with our guests. Please do not worry or concern yourself with restricted dietery needs. However, do avoid any type of seafood.

Description
Hope Lodge and Hospitality House provides free lodging to cancer patients and caregivers and low-cost lodging to transplant patients and their families receiving lifesaving treatment at hospitals in the Rochester area. More than a place to stay, Hope Lodge and Hospitality House is a "home away from home" offering a comfortable and supportive environment for encouragement and healing.
