LRFF relies on grants and donations to plant, restore and protect tropical forests. At least 90% of the funds we help raise goes directly to planting trees. You can help us by writing grants, reaching out to our audiences, or hosting fun events in your community to raise funds.

We restore native tropical forests by planting trees, educating people, inspiring donors and partnering with landowners.
Description
We are a registered, tax deductible non-profit in Costa Rica since 2005 and in the U.S. with 501 c 3 status since 2010. We have planted over 100,000 trees of more than 100 different native species on over 100 hectares (247 acres) in the past 4 years working with students, indigenous people and local communities. We focus on creating biological corridors to connect isolated forests left over after deforestation in the mid 1900's.
