Library Aides provide assistance in helping the smooth operation of Queens community libraries! Volunteers assist with checking in returned materials (i.e. books, DVD’s, CD’s), setting up promotional displays, mending books, cataloging items, and preparing reserve materials for pick-up. Individuals may also be asked to assist with clerical duties such as answer phones, filing, and copying documents.

  • Help teens strengthen their academic skills and prepare for college as a Homework Helper or Academic Tutor
  • Welcome New Americans, helping them learn English and prepare them to become citizens...and more!
