Office volunteers work in the reception area of our MHP office answering phones, greeting clients, and other clerical tasks as needed. Due to the nature of the phone calls we receive, a one-day training will be needed. We are looking for a volunteer who can help 2-4 hours weekly, twice weekly, or as best fits your schedule.

To assist adults and children as they move from loss to life through support, therapy, education, training and consultation throughout the greater Austin area.

Description

We are a non-profit organization focused on grief and trauma with the mission to assist children and adults as they move from loss to life, transforming their grief through therapy, support, education, training and consultation.

The Austin Center for Grief & Loss provides services to individuals and families who have experienced a loss due to the death of a loved one from illness, miscarriage, accident, suicide, or violence; along with those who have experienced loss due to divorce or separation.

We strive to help anyone in need of hope and healing, regardless of ones ability to pay. For those in need we offer a sliding fee scale and a care assistance program when funds are available.
