Mission Statement

WEAVE works with leaders and supporters throughout the region to build a stronger community and healthy families as it works towards its mission to build a community that does not tolerate domestic violence and sexual assault and provides survivors with the support they need to be safe and thrive.

Description

We provide free and low cost fee based services to community members and those experiencing interpersonal violence, sexual violence or human trafficking.

We work to empower our clients to use their personal strengths and utilize resources as they heal from trauma and rebuild violence free lives.

Our services include free temporary shelter for domestic violence survivors, a sexual assault response team, legal advocacy, counseling, transitional housing and a 24/7 Support Line.

*All of our services are inclusive and non discriminatory. We serve women, men, teens and children. We also serve the many diverse communities within Sacramento and strive to be culturally competent.

We are also dedicated to breaking the cycle of violence by working with teens and adults through our prevention efforts.
