PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Promoting the Red Cross and raising awareness of its mission.
OPEN TIME DAYS
Volunteers generally work 3-4 hour shifts, not including driving time and set-up.｠ Each event is scheduled separately by e-mail, so volunteers have total control over their own level of time commitment. Most events are weekdays with some weekend opportunities also available.｠
REQUIRED TRAINING- Special Events｠Team Orientation (1 hour)
- Self-study of Red Cross programs and services (Web site, brochures, etc.)
