Make a difference in the lives of Missouri’s native wildlife! Are you looking for a fast paced and dynamic opportunity, on the front line, in the fight to help the public and distressed animals in our community? Do you want to increase your knowledge and skills, while enhancing your career and business relationships, all while giving back to your community? If this sounds like a rewarding and challenging experience, then we have a position on our team for you!

The Wildlife Rescue Center is searching for bright, critical thinkers who can be the first point of contact for our team and assist with the triaging of calls from the public about human/wildlife interactions and animal emergencies. Provide biologically sound information while following policies and procedures of the Wildlife Rescue Center, resolving wildlife conflicts in a humane way, working to reunite wild families and determine if/when intervention is necessary, coordinating transport and rescuers as needed, and processing new animals to the clinic on arrival.

Previous experience is not required, and training will be provided. Dedicated volunteers make up the majority of our workforce, and we ask all new volunteers to agree to a minimum commitment of service of one five hour shift per week, for a minimum of five months.
