(SHs814) Here's an opportunity to help runaways and homeless youth by volunteering at Somerset Home's 16th Annual Run for Runaways. This 5K Run/ 2-mile Fitness Walk and Kid Sprints is November 1, 2014 from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm at Colonial Park, 156 Mettlers Road, Somerset, NJ and features food, music, silent auction, 50/50 raffle and much more. Your efforts will support the needs of runaways and homeless youth served by this organization. Teens through seniors, groups, and Special Needs volunteers welcome. Learn more and sign up here.

Description
VMC provides volunteer opportunities for individuals and groups of all ages through our affiliation with over 500 not-for-profits, schools and government entities. VMC goes beyond matching to educating volunteers. Professional development is offered to volunteer managers, agency boards, and individuals wishing to serve on a not-for-profit board of directors. Business partnerships enable us to assist them in planning and executing volunteer projects. In addition, outreach and senior services are offered through friendly visiting and telephone reassurance programs.
