A single day of service is needed for a local lady who is blind and needs a ride to Massachusetts Eye and Ear offices in Sturbridge on December 8th. This is the perfect opportunity for the right person so spend about 6 hours in service to a neighbor. You will pick up in Wethersfield and drive to Boston for a 10:00 a.m. appointment, guide the individual into the medical offices and then you can spend time on your own. When the appointment is over you can head back to Connecticut.
If you have been wondering about being a volunteer but were concerned about making a long-term commitment, this is a great opportunity to test the waters without getting in too deep!
