Call for Volunteers: bazaarSPARK 2016!
Are you interested in being a part of one of the largest arts and creative showcases in the Southeast? bazaarSPARK, a two day street fair taking place during SPARKcon on September 17 and 18, 2015, needs YOU! Volunteers are needed to assist with the general functions of the bazaar and helping throughout this fantastic two day event!
Volunteer Time Slots:
- Saturday, September 17:
- 7:45a-11a (vendor load in and set-up)
- 12p-4p (lunch and break patrol!)
- 6:30p-9:30p (vendor load out and shut-down for the day)
- Sunday, September 18:
- 10a-1p (vendor load in and set-up)
- 1p-4p (lunch/break patrol!)
- 4p-7p (vendor load out and shut-down)
If you would like to volunteer, please contact Dottie Cole at bazaarSPARKraleigh@gmail.com Even if you can’t fit into a designated volunteer slot, we would love to hear from you! Volunteers will be fundamental to the organization of bazaarSPARK and all help is greatly appreciated!

MISSION STATEMENT: To foster the advancement of and provide opportunities for all visual artists, particularly emerging, and to increase community awareness, appreciation, and support of North Carolina artists.Description
Visual Art Exchange (VAE) is the oldest, private, non-profit, visual arts organization in Raleigh. Formerly Wake Visual Arts, VAE has been operating for 26 years. It was the first art gallery to operate in downtown Raleigh and is a past recipient of the prestigious Raleigh Medal of Arts Award. VAE has an integral place in the art community in Raleigh and is a key cultural offering in the City Market neighborhood and Moore Square Arts District. VAE is dedicated to providing opportunities to emerging artists and enriching the cultural environment of the community through its exhibitions and programs.
