We are looking for edcuated individuals who have a passion for helping children.
- Volunteer tutors willl assist students in all academic functions of the Learning Center.
- Volunteers will be able to tutor Reading, Writing, Math, English, and Learning Skills (including computer skills), etc., as required.
- Volunteers will help students with subject content according to individual strengths.
- Volunteers will be able to help students with study strategies and techniques.

Our goal is to continue to build community through affordable housing and expanding our outreach efforts to other areas of the state and throughout the Southern Region.
Description
Since its founding in 1992, Humanities Foundation has endeavored to increase the availability of affordable housing in order to create healthy communities. Humanities works with other nonprofit and government agencies contributing time, resources, and expertise to projects that address the affordable housing and human service needs of the community.
Efforts to date have resulted in the development of over 1500 rental units of affordable housing,
providing homes for low-income individuals, including populations such as the working poor, the
disabled, single mothers, and senior citizens.
