We believe that every child should have a safe place to go after school. We are looking for motivated volunteers who are positive, energetic, compassionate and have the ability to work with diverse populations. After School Homework Club takes place 2:30-5:30 pm, Monday through Friday when school is in session. Volunteers will assist staff with supervision of students K-7, help with homework, provide snacks, track attendance, and interact with students in a variety of engaging activities. Volunteers have the opportunity to plan and implement activities aligning with their skills and interests such as sports, arts and crafts, dance etc. or actively participate in activities planned by PAL staff. After school programs have been shown to increase test scores and school attendance, promote healthy physical activity, and increase self-confidence. Be a part of this positive change in your community today!
