Assess adults for readiness for NVFS's Training Futures program, which helps low-income adults gain the skills needed to move from blue collar jobs to white collar careers with liveable wages, benefits and opportunities for advancement. Volunteers will help manage the trainee application process including:
- Greet and sign-in applicants arriving for intake assessments.
- Proctor applicants during a 90-minute assessment test.
- Conduct 20-30 minute interviews individually with applicants.
- Schedule intake assessment appointments with new applicants.
- Contact potential applicants encouraging them to apply.
Volunteers are need weekdays between 9am-2pm. Volunteers who can't commit for the full testing day are needed to help schedule appointments and recruit applicants.
