ORGANIZATION: Project Sentinel

  • 13 people are interested

We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic high school student or other individual who is interested in civil rights and housing issues to help us out on weekday afternoons with a variety of miscellaneous projects. The projects will range from assisting with intakes, filing, scanning, making phone calls, doing internet searches, and working with databases and spreadsheets, to preparing training packets and other outreach materials. You will work closely with Fair Housing Coordinators, all attorneys, as they investigate claims of housing discrimination and help educate the community about fair housing rights and obligations. Project Sentinel is a non-profit organization that has been working in the Bay Area for 36 years. Great opportunity for someone interested in a career in law, social justice or housing.
