Got a service group looking for a fun one-time project? We've got the perfect project for you. Seat guests and serve food in a fun and family-friendly environment. Your hard work will be benefiting Project RIDE which offers therapeutic horseback riding instruction for people with special needs. Our event is a spaghetti feed and carnival attracting about a thousand guests. Your job is to make sure they all get fed in a timely manner and with excellent service, and clean and recycle after dinner. Please note this is a GROUP opportunity as we would like to have one point person to manage all 32 servers/hosts. Teen service groups are welcome! Mission Statement
Since 1979, Project R.I.D.E. has provided recreational therapeutic horseback riding instruction to people with special needs. Our program is dedicated to the improvement of a rider's physical, mental, social and emotional well-being through interaction with specially trained horses and ponies.
Description
We provide therapeutic horseback riding instruction to people with special needs. Volunteers assist in the daily operation of our program including walking with students while they ride and managing horses safely.
