You have the ability to bring hope, reduce fears, and impact lives. By becoming a hospice volunteer, you will learn a new meaning of COMPASSION.
Our volunteers are needed a minimum of 2 hours a week to provide companionship to someone who might not have any one else. As a volunteer, there are numerous activities that you can do. You can read to someone, play music for them, or just actively listen. People have a lot to say; they just need someone to listen.
Learn more about yourself by becoming a volunteer; this learning experience is priceless.
We will provide a lunch and gas allowance.

Description
Hospice is a program of health care and services designated to meet the special needs of patients and their loved ones in times of crisis and terminal illness. Hospice can dramatically impact the amount of pain and suffering experienced, providing quality time to live comfortably and fully, with privacy and dignity, in your own home or care facility. The services provided insure that the dying individual will have the opportunity to prepare for death with dignity.
