Volunteer with Natural Areas Volunteers (NAV) at Bloomingdale Park to help protect young trees from deer and rabbit browse. Volunteers will be trained in proper fitting and installation of tree guards. These tree guards will prevent deer and rabbit from feeding on young trees. Come dressed in sturdy boots or shoes, long pants and clothing that can get dirty. Please meet your NAV Technical Leader at the south end of Maguire Avenue and Ramona Avenue. This project is appropriate for adults, and youth groups, and middle school and up. Space is limited. Registration is required for this event.
