About iDONTdoSILENT

Location:

3227 S 366th St, Auburn, WA 98001, US

Mission Statement

a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit public charity based in WA state, iDONTdoSILENT's mission is to Break the Silence of Violence through Artistic Expression.

We provide support, validation, and empowerment to survivors of violent trauma thru artistic expression, support groups unique to specific traumas as well as mental illnesses related to their trauma.

We are a peer-based community outreach and thanks to some of our sponsors, we are able to provide therapeutic models of healing under the skills and expertise of professionals that collaborate in our efforts for outreach. We are proud to serve the military forces and their families, victims of childhood violence, domestic abuse victims and assault victims. We are beginning to research programs that will aid in awareness of the implications of children being silent about abuse, and in many cases, for years which results in adults with very severe mental illnesses that affect daily living, sometimes so chronically as to cause a mental diability.

We do not work or advocate on any political platforms, nor perscribe to any idealogical belief system that would inhibit us from helping create a movement for real change. The Power is the Peer!

Controversially, we are working with offenders to gain insight as to how to stop the violence brought upon humanity. We propose that the fear of going to jail not be the biggest justice but understanding the impact their choice to offend a human being has on the world.

Survivors have a virtual and real time platform to show their works of art as well as a possible sponsorship to producing an income from their skill-set
