MAM is looking for friendly and engaging volunteers to teach a Virtual ESL class to eager and dedicated adults! Teaching experience of any kind is preferred. You do not have to be bilingual to teach the class and must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
And while you can volunteer virtually from anywhere at this time, we really value connecting students and volunteers from the Greater Houston area as it's special when we are all working together to benefit the same greater community.
Classes are held two days per week, on a Monday/Wednesday or a Tuesday/Thursday. We have classes in the morning, afternoon and evening.
Classes are currently held virtually using Zoom. Materials, training and support are provided by MAM ESL Staff. As an ESL volunteer, you will truly make a difference in the lives of the students that you teach!
If you would like to help or have further questions please complete our Google Form https://forms.gle/F6JfqmV35EsWHucRA and a Volunteer Coordinator will follow up with you. Thank you!
