Provide guests with the ultimate experience by: •Assisting with the opening and closing of the Battleship Wisconsin, greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly manner •Proactively engage and present accurate historical information that pertains to the Battleship Wisconsin along the interior and exterior of the ship •Act as a Lead Guide or Caboose on designated tour routes while addressing needs and navigating potential safety hazards •Assis with set up for deck events, walk the decks to perform safety and maintenance checks, and hoisting the jack and signal flags. • Assist with general cleanliness of General Admissions areas.

Time commitment: 8 hours monthly & 6 months minimum

•Must attend training prior to volunteer duties •Must enjoy interacting with the general public and be able to address a diverse audience whilst possessing a positive attitude and pleasant demeanor •Must be able to learn, retain, and present factual information about Battleship Wisconsin while keeping an eye out for safety •Must possess and project a clear, strong speaking voice •Ability to carry out assigned tasks with attention to detail under minimal supervision both interior and exterior of ship •Adults 18

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS •Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, bend and reach above the head •Walk and climb ladders to upper and lower decks required •Tolerate and navigate small spaces •Capacity to withstand varying temperatures, slight rain, and wind •Must be able to lift up to 20lbs. •Willingness to research information to enhance guest experience
