ORGANIZATION: After the Harvest

Thank You to all who gleaned with After the Harvest" in the 2014 season. The 2015 season runs April14 - November 2015. Check us out on Facebook "After the Harvest KC" for the gleaning calender to fill with gleanings for the new season. ThankYou again!!!!

We are a 2 person organization who pick vegetables at farms to feed people in need. A farmer in Osceola will donate thousands of pounds of fresh produce if we just come and pick it. Help us pick and transport fresh, healthy vegetables to local food pantries to feed hungry children and adults.

Mission Statement

After the Harvest rescues nutritious fruits and vegetables from going to waste and donates them to agencies that serve hungry people, primarily in Greater Kansas City.

Description

Our volunteers glean after the harvest, picking what’s left in farmers’ fields and picking up already harvested leftover produce and distributing them to local food pantries and food banks that serve the great KC metro. After the Harvest, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit.
