The Alzheimer Society of Peterborough, Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland and Haliburton is a person-centered agency dedicated to advocating for and improving the quality of life for those affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias throughout their journey.
Description
The local Alzheimer Society Chapter is dedicated to improving the quality of life for bopth people with Alzheimer's disease or a related dementia and their care partners.
Services include: information on an individual basis, as a family and as part of a learning series; assistance with referrals to services and navigating the health care system; resource library; and support groups for people with early and mid stage dementia, as well as individual and group support for caregivers.
