Homework Help Volunteer

Make a difference in a child’s life! Santa Monica Public Library is recruiting Homework Help volunteers for Pico Branch Library. Homework Help is offered Mondays & Thursdays, 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. Prospective volunteers must schedule a short interview, complete a background check, and attend a mandatory training. The volunteer commitment is 1 hr./week, during the 15/16 school year.

Homework Help volunteers will assist students individually, in grades 1 - 5, for 20-minute sessions. Experience with children and Spanish-speakers preferred but not required. Contact: Jennifer Boyce at jennifer.boyce@smgov.net or call (310) 458-8639.
