About Friends To The Forlorn Pitbull Rescue

Location:

PO Box 2316, DALLAS, GA 30132, US

Mission Statement

Friends to the Forlorn is a 100% nonprofit, no-kill organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming pitbulls while providing education and promoting responsible and proper pitbull ownership. The mission of Friends to the Forlorn is to promote responsible Pit Bull ownership, provide breed education, combat pet overpopulation, fight unfair legislation, and find qualified homes for sound Pit Bull dogs in Georgia and around the country.

Description

Our primary focus is finding safe, loving and forever homes for stray, unwanted, neglected and/or abused pitbulls within Georgia.

We also offer assistance to families to spay/neuter their pitbulls. We believe that spaying/neutering is the only solution to decreasing the drastic overpopulation of this breed and to promote responsible ownership.

We provide education to local schools, universities and communities about proper Pitbull ownership.

We are a foster home based organization and are helping to rescue, rehabilitate and responsibly rehome pitbulls throughout Georgia. We are based in Dallas, GA about 45 minutes NW of Atlanta.
