Perform light gardening work (weeding, pruning, sweeping walk ways, raking leaves, basic care of plants) in the Heritage Frederick's beautiful Heritage Garden. Garden Day happens every forth Saturday at 9am.

Heritage Frederick (The Historical Society of Frederick County, Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational organization dedicated to increasing public understanding and appreciation of the history of Frederick County, Maryland. The society collects and preserves artifacts and documents for study and education, and welcomes the participation of people of all ages in sharing informative and engaging experiences that will encourage them to discover and appreciate their heritage.
Description
The Historical Society of Frederick County operates the Museum of Frederick County History, the Roger Brooke Taney House and the Frederick County Archives and Research Center, and offers engaging educational programs and special events throughout the year.
