PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Do you have a passion for teaching or a knack for turning presentations into a fun experience? If so we need you! The humanitarian mission of the American Red Cross connects us to people and communities across the nation and around the world. The common bonds of humanity and compassion unite us together, not just in the face of emergencies and disasters, but in helping our neighbors every day. American Red Cross presenters help make the vital and lifesaving information of the Red Cross come to life for the audience. They move the mission of the Red Cross forward by inspiring audiences to change the way they think about disasters, preparedness, health and safety, and the military.

OPEN TIME DAYS
Presenters for the American Red Cross are requested to commit to volunteering for presentations or to lead trainings at least three times every six months to stay active in the Red Cross system. Weekday, week night, and weekend presentations are available.

REQUIRED TRAINING
All volunteer position trainings are provided free by the Red Cross to teach you any skills needed to succeed in your volunteer position. Classes are provided online on-demand, virtual web classes, and instructor led classes. As a presenter in training, you will need to audit the classes that you will be requested to present and will also be requested to co-present with a tenured instructor before volunteering independently.
