PLACEMENT PURPOSE
Internships are available in the following areas: - Public Affairs - Special Events Marketing - Client Casework - Emergency Services - Volunteer Services Interns are given special projects in order to develop leadership skills and count towards resume building credentials or scholastic credits. Internships are unpaid.
OPEN TIME DAYS
Interns must commit to working 10 to 15 hours per week in the chapter office, under the guidance of a supervising staff member or volunteer.｠
All intern position trainings are provided free by the Red Cross to teach you any skills needed to succeed in your position. Classes are provided online on-demand, virtual web classes, and instructor led classes. As an intern, you will be given project training by a senior volunteer or program coordinator for job specific tasks and policies.
