AmeriCorpsVISTA is a unique opportunity to build our local nonprofits' ability to engage volunteers to make a real difference in the community! You will be part of the Nevada Volunteers team making a difference for those with economic and educational limitations! AmeriCorpsVISTA is a year-long, full-time national service commitment that offers a small living stipend, health care and education benefits. The volunteer position involves recruiting and managing skilled volunteers, establishing volunteer procedures for the organization, coordinating special service projects, and finding funding sources for sustainability.

Nevada Volunteers promotes volunteerism throughout the state and administers AmeriCorps programs in Nevada. We provide opportunities for volunteers, training and support to volunteer managers from business, nonprofit, governmental, and faith-based organizations, and we host the annual Governor's Points of Light Awards to honor outstanding volunteer service.
