The ideal facilitator is someone who has an art background, a genuine feeling of closeness to the eldery, and an in-depth understanding of Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. Programs will be held weekly in Philadelphia, PA and Marlton, NJ for one year.
"Memories in the Making" is an innovative art program that enables persons with dementia who are experiencing losses in their ability to verbally communicate their thoughts and feelings to express themselves through art.

Description
The Chapter is dedicated to providing services to persons with Alzheimer's disease or dementia, their families and their caregivers. Services include a 24/7 Helpline, support groups, education sessions, and the Medic Alert + Safe Return ID program.
