Harlem RBI, an award winning youth development program, is seeking Club Leaders to volunteer at our REAL Kids Program. Club Leaders design and lead elective classes for elementary school students on Fridays. Clubs provide our youth with opportunities to express their creativity, broaden their perspectives, and most importantly, enjoy themselves! Past clubs have included Yoga, Dance, Web Design, Percussion, Chorus, Theater, Zumba, Karate, Chess, Baseball Statistics, and Cooking. The ideal candidate has experience working with elementary school youth, has an expertise in an extra-curricular subject, and possesses creativity, enthusiasm, and patience.

Description

DREAM serves over 2200 East Harlem and South Bronx youth by providing free, high-quality summer and afterschool programs to youth ages 6-21 years in an intensive multi-year commitment that connects youth and families to age-appropriate programs and passionate professional staff over time.

All DREAM youth play on a baseball or softball team and participate in a full range of education and youth development programs designed to build the skills and confidence necessary to succeed as healthy and active adults.
