Spinal Cord Injury Service Volunteer Patient Support

Purpose of
Assignment:
To provide services to improve the stay of Patients and to assist Nursing with escorting patients to appointments when possible.
Using Service:
SCI Nursing Staff
Department & Location:
SCIU (DD) 1 st Floor

Time Requirements:
Monday- Friday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm; very flexible according to needs of patients/staff/volunteers
Specific Duties:
Please continue on separate sheet if additional space is needed.
Reading to patients that may not be able to do so themselves.
Assisting patients with laundry as needed.
Escorts for transporting patients to appointments in wheelchairs and possibly in beds.
