Teen Voices Take Action is a project sponsored by the AZ Summit on Volunteerism and Service Learning. The project requirements include educating teens on the dangers and typical behaviors of perpetrators trying to lure teens into a life of sex trafficking and exploitation. After the teens are trained, they can create a 60 second video on awareness of sex trafficking of minors targeting their peers. The winning video will be used as a Public Service Announcement throughout the State to prevent teens from a life of enslavement. The winner will receive $500 2nd place $200 3rd place $100. Other prizes will be given as well, and the winners have the opportunity to be partipicate on a new Teen Leadership Team that focuses on helping make the public aware of issues Teen Issues like bullying, heroin and prescription drug usage, sex trafficking, teen suicide and more. The project winners will also present at the AZ Summit on Volunteerism and Service Learning in December 2014.

Description
Childhelp's approach focuses on prevention, intervention and treatment. The Childhelp National Child Abuse Hotline, 1-800-4-A-CHILD , operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and receives calls from throughout the United States, Canada, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico and Guam. Childhelp's programs and services also include residential treatment services (villages); children's advocacy centers; therapeutic foster care; group homes; child abuse prevention, education and training; and the National Day of Hope , part of National Child Abuse Prevention Month every April.
