This volunteer opportunity is for those who are interested in clerical work. These volunteers will participate in various helpful tasks around the administrative office or shelter. We have front desks at two of our locations, and volunteers will have the opportunity to answer phones, input data, copy papers, file papers, organize or other various tasks around the offices. This volunteer is encouraged to coordinate a consistent schedule that the office staff can count on. This opporutnity to brighten the days of clients, staff and visitors can make an impact on those effected by domestic violence.

The mission of the Kendall County Women's Shelter is to provide safe, emergency shelter in a supportive environment where Texas Hill Country victims of domestic violence and their children can begin the healing process and receive the support services they need to build new lives.
Description
Kendall County Women's Shelter is an emergency shelter for victims of domestic violence. We could not exist without the help of our volunteers. Through volunteer efforts and the hard work of our dedicated team, we are making a difference in the lives of victims of domestic violence.
