Description
Forest Grove School District is a K-12 public school district serving the communities of Forest Grove and Cornelius. We appreciate and value the wonderful parents and community members who volunteer in our schools. In 2011-12, volunteers contributed the equivalent of more than $2 million in time and talent. Each school has a volunteer coordinator who works with volunteers to provide training and to place them in volunteer positions that best suit their interests and talents.
The Forest Grove School District has seven elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. Our award-winning high school is featured as a model high school in the new edition of Breaking Ranks, published by the National Association of Secondary School Principals. In 2012, Forest Grove High School was recognized for the sixth time by the Oregon Department of Education with a Continuing Success Award.
