Description: The Afterschool and High School Readiness Program Support Intern will work directly with the Manager of Performance Arts Learning and Special Projects. The person in this role will work on a variety of projects, from day to day operations of the regular afterschool programs to special projects such as Pasport to Highschool Success. Duties: assist in coordination of high school readiness activities and events planning (coordinationg dates and transportation for field trips; coordinating calendar of guest speakers for residenceis; schedule UW leadership team meetings) Support programs (create program flyers; tracking consultant deliverables weekly; follow up with consultants for outstanding deliverables) Coordination and maintainence of teaching artist resource website; building engagement strategies or consultants on the site Helping with High School readiness newsletter creation (sourcing content, formatting, and design) Transcribing Program Development & leadership team meeting minutes Requirements: Must be organized and detail oriented Have strong research, writing, and verbal communication skills Knowledge of (or deep interest in) arts education field Experience writing web content (WordPress platform preferred) Experience designing flyers and newsletters is a plus Available 15-20 hours per week on a regular schedule, ix. 6 hours per day, Monday, Wednesday, Friday.
